Tennessee residents canโt predict the events that will happen in life. Thereโs no type of radar to give a warning about when an accident will happen. The only way to mitigate risks is to use the information at hand to prepare and make the best decisions possible. Unfortunately, a person can make all the preparations and do everything right and still be involved in an accident.
Recently in Knoxville, a manย succumbed to his injuries after being involvedย in a multi-vehicle crash. The accident happened during the afternoon hours on East Emory Road near Bell Road. According to reports from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a vehicle was stopped in the northbound lane of Emory Road due to turning traffic when it was suddenly hit from behind.
Reports said the impact knocked the stopped vehicle into the opposite lane and it collided with a southbound vehicle. Tragically, the driver of the southbound vehicle was killed in the crash, authorities said. Reportedly, four others were injured in the crash and one of them had to be airlifted to a local hospital
Drivers never know what they may encounter when they get behind the wheel and take to the road. Those in Tennessee who have suffered injuries or the loss of a loved one inย motor vehicle accidents caused by negligenceย have the right to speak with a legal representative about their options for recourse. Damages from a successful lawsuit could help with medical and end-of-life expenses.
